We checked out this little beauty after the photo shoot at Craigmiller Castle. Just a short drive away in Leith, Edinburgh.
A gorgeous setting by the Forth and a well stocked bar, we were off to a good start!
So I’m one of those people that generally given the chance will skip mains in order to have a starter and dessert. Smaller portions just seem much more sensible, you get to try so much more that way.
So for starters, deep fried brie with a side of cranberry sauce. Delish!
Add a glass of wine and now we’re talking!
Up next, Dessert. A banoffee pie, which unfortunately was a bit of a let down, no cream and no bananas, really just a sticky toffee swirl in a chocolately basket. And then one of my personal favourites, poached pear which really hit the spot!
